This is another shot taken at the horseshow where I got the boot/spur. I probably should have gotten the entire hand, but it was a quick shot just at this person was getting ready to enter the ring.
Don't know why I hadn't commented on this one before! Really excellent composition showing hints of the different elements - the horse's side, the saddle pad, the wonderfully ornate 'carved' leather of the saddle and workmanship of the crop and, last but not least, a glimpse of the rider's hand, the roughness of which tells a story of it's own... Amazing how much you've said in a single image!
Thanks everyone. Artie, he's a she..lol..an amazing woman, 72 and still does all her own training, riding, barn work, hauling..well you get the picture. :-)

Hey Bev...another great shot!! Like Alex, I too am very impressed with your digital camera and the sharpness of your photos. I am going to have to check out Nikons website and get the specs on it.....*smile* Maggie
