Yes dear Marcus it is http://www.artcyclopedia.com/artists/kubin_alfred.html There is not much info about him on the internet, i happened to find an exhibition of him in a museum in Vienna. What I said about the common traits in themes and corols/aesthetics is true, he is a mysterious expressionist. Bye!

Rebecca thank you for understanding my point of view concerning this photo. It is important someone to be able to tell the creator's wish to take a shot in a particular way, and this shot is what one really wanted! kiss!

Excellent use of a shallow dof to detail the background with mystery. I think this very much conveys what you were trying to show. Beautiful black and white, excellent composition and tones. Very well presented.

Dear Kosta, this "black/thing/on/the/right in the frame" is intentionally placed there to show the contrast with the dreamy left background. Death>freedom Life>static/sorrow at least this is what I wanted, your idea is nice, maybe I should shoot another image without the solid, dark part thanx very much!!

This photo would be spoiled by the use of a frame, frames are the best thing sometimes but not always neccessary. In this image I need a sense of chaos, as the lying statue is the dead man.Thanx for the comment, you have suggested a lot of interesting things about frames.

another fine cemetary shot of yours dear Mary... i believe the black spots around the angel really help the composition to stand out and the statue comes to the front with all its detail leaving these blurry light waves as a quite depiction of hope!!!!!fantastic....

I love the gothic look you have going here. Your highlights on the left of the frame are "running out" of the photo. A thin black pencil border will help contain it all. I love the composition. The grain definately adds mood.
Excellent work my dear!

i find this beautiful, but i might like it better if it was composed with less of this black/thing/on/the/right in the frame. you may think that "the dead and the living is a different thing..." but it would be interesting to ask what the statues think of this, since they are the only living things that keep company to the dead ALL the time,at least in that cemetery! bye :-)

this a cemetery in Berlin in Dorotheen Str. I have not altered the images at all in the Jewish cemetery nor in this one... I like cemeteries among 10000 other things to shoot because they have statues , trees and a mystery...I like the quiet atmopsphere and the mood...I think that the dead and the living is a different thing...I do not confuse things...I see the place as a photographer only...

Great capture and I have some strange feelings about this photograph of yours, cause I dont like cemetries ;-( but I know how fine statues we can find there for the living to remember the dead darling persons! Why are you shooting on the cemetry dear Mary!?!? Can`t you find nice subjects among living persons? Oh, I know, and I know also that I am going very soon to shoot some cemetry too. Thank you sweety and have a great weekend Kisses, Biliana
