Thanks for your comments on this image. Oddly enough, I was thinking about going back and trying to isolate one of the ferns. Initially, I was trying to capture both of them because I was intrigued at the ferns coming out of the mossy rocks, but I agree that there's too much going on in this composition. The location (at the bottom of a ravine about 9-10' deep) makes it difficult to manuever for a really great compostion--but that doesn't mean I'll stop trying! :-)

Excellent colours and shapes in this image. I would love to see a closer shot of the rock and fern at bottom right as I find too many competing elements overall. Cheers

Love the soft lush greens in this photo. Ferns make a great subject to photograph with good pattern and lush colours. Something I hope to shoot myself soon. Nice work regards Greg
