This is another view of the rock lake I posted yesterday. I thought this was such an interesting place, but I'm not sure I think any of the images truly capture what I saw there.
I cropped the one from yesterday and posted it in a comment to the original.
Any suggestions on how to improve either one of these?
Thanks for taking the time to evaluate this one. I think your tweaking made it better; I tried saturating with the software I have (not PS) but it seemed to make the rocks too red. It would be very cool to get a bear in there, but then I'd probably be too terrified to take the picture, or unable to control the shaking of my hands long enough to push the button! lol
Hi Anne, Superbly composed photo. The framing of the lake by the trees and the grass in the foreground is excellent. I think the colours are a bit bleak, and could use a tad of saturation and a small contrast tweak. Other than that, The scene and the composition are very good. A "foreign" object (human presence, an animal or a log cabin could possibly grab the viewers attention a bit longer. That's a minor thing, though. I like this shot alot.
