very nice indeed! I saw your comment and must say that it's been my experience that when allowed, the clouds will develop thier own definition within the frame and left on thier own, without land or other distractions, they quite often capture a person's soul.
Thanks for the great comments! I was standing there for almost 30 glorious minutes, watching the sky turn from blue to pink to every possible shade of orange and red, then finally to gradual darkness. This was about an hour and a half east of Altus, in the middle of cattle fields and national park land.
I took other shots with less of the darkened hills, but when I cropped them out altogether, the image looked bare.
Perfect!! I know it must have been breathtaking to see it in person full peripheral...you can never capture the whole picture of a view such as this, unfortunately, but you are very close here...
