About A little soft due to being handheld. The sky is a little blown out (it is a bit better in the real print, but still).

Great reflection, colors and composition, well balanced.

Thank you for your comment about my photo. I guess I could have cropped off some of the blackness but I thought it would intenseify the photo and the prespective, the darkness coming after the sun goes down.

bjorn, you are such a young man, why is a shutter speed of 30 mentionable at all?
my proposal would be to turn it around altogether. i think it improves it a lot.

thank you for your kind comment on 'nose-up'

Thanks Graham, I appreciate your effort, I agree that the tidied up version looks better... Your comments and those of Katleen made me decide to go back there a few times, and shoot it untill it is perfect. Thanks to all of you who commented on this picture !

A lovely composed image Bjorn with a brilliant reflection. This is such a good image I've tried to tidy it up a little, what do you think?

hi, Bjorn, i picked this one to talk about because it?s one that is made especially dear for it?s subject matter and gorgeous com`position. What a scene you captured! i can well understand your fondness for this photo because it?s one in a million. i only wish you had shot this more times and with exposure bracketing so that you would have ended up with the perfection this scene deserves. But we don?t always get the time, the weather, or the energy to just stand there repeatedly shooting the same thing.

The combination of the tall windmill and the tall tree work so well togehter, both above and below in that immaculately still blue water. The extra treat is the little boats by the shoreline and the warm hues of the trees and the bricks. Do you think a slight rotation to the right would level the shoreline, or is the tilt my own imagination? Thanks for uploading this here, i find it a singularly peaceful and well seen image. These are really the kinds of images that we shoot with our minds every day, not bothering to compose or level or meter..they?re in our heads and hearts and we treasure them as memories always, except that you made it real. Very best regards: kat-

Nice reflections and very good on the water, but overexposed on the top? hm, I presume your scanner made this blur!
Kiss, biliana
