Very beautiful and informative shot. Í had never seen this type of beans. Interestin object with excellent details. I think the lighting here is excellent and.... of course the DOF tooThank you for your always very kind comments, Khoi. Unfortunately my camera hasn't arrived yet. I ordered a Canon 300D at the end of september and I really was very anxious about it. I knew it would take long cause there was and is a great demand for it in Europe. The first week of november it finally arrived, I paid for it and took it home with me. I was over the moon but.... not for long. I managed to take two shot with it directly connected to my computer. It wouldn't read any memory card so I couldn't use it. It was dead on arrival. BAD LUCK!!!! It was sent back and the Canon importer for the Nederland said I would get a new one as soon as possible. I am still waiting. Pretty weird, ain't it? - I hope I'll have my new camera before Christmas. Have a nice day, my friend

Like your real, "beneath your feet" image. :-)) Good focus(especially with such narrow depth of field) and colour with great fine detail in the hairs on the beans. If your a soya bean farmer this must have lots of emotional appeal (providing the yield is good). Still I'll go along with the rest thoogh on this. :-))

Beautifully taken with an excellent depth of field and colour. It is good to be educated by photography( I didn't know what Soya beeans looked like :-) Thank you for your comments Khoi, you must go back to Vietnam. I found it a wonderfully warm country both in weather and people although we did get soaked by the monsoon rain a couple of times. My photo of Returning home was taken in the Mekong Delta where it is obviously the usual mode of transport. If you want any more information please write to mariefm8@hotmail.com Regards Marie

An fascinating subject with suberb shadow detail. The only improvement I can think of might be a slight boost in color saturation, either via the PS "Curves" filter or the "Hue/Saturation" sliders. Best--Jim

Essential technique of the macro photo! Yellow--autumn, dried----harvest time, and good background colours. I learned from this, a nice appealing methode of macro photo! Thanks.
