What a lovely portrait. Nice fresh expression and pose. Your lighting is very good. If you will notice that the undersides of the arms are very light. Try keeping the arms posed so the darker side shows. As light as they are they tend to draw the eye. Great work. Don.

Karen - This is wonderful the lighting is impeccable, the focus is tack sharp, especially the eyes and that's is the MOST important part of a portait. They are so sharp they could almost blink! The expression is wonderful, very relaxed very happy.

Gotta love those freckles!! Great portrait, Karen! I like the blue hat and the coy expression. Hey, I have the same Tamron lens for my Nikon! Of course, I still don't take a good portrait.....dang it all to heck. :-)

What clear, crisp eyes! They bore right out of the picture!
Portraits are still something that evade me, but I am in awe of people that can make it looks so good!
The framing is spot on, and the pose, although a common one, looks natural with this girl. Wonderful job!
