Every once in a while I still like to try a few of these kind of images. Old trucks, abandoned houses, farms etc. They all seem to touch peoples heartstrings in some way.
Also interesting that you picked another image taken with my 40 year old lens.

Yeah, reflections are wonderful in photography. Kind of an image within an image, within an image again. Like you said, complex and simple at the same time. I'll post a couple more from this shoot with similar themes.

I know what you mean by touching. There seems to be a special aura that is captured around old buildings, especially churches. It might be old and in bad repair now, but you can almost imagine the farm community coming together for weddings, christenings and funerals, 150 years ago.

Nice detail of the window with the reflections. I see why you like this one, makes a great b/w image. The trees shadow from behind and the view out the door from the inside of the image. Complex and yet simple and pleasing!!
