Thanks Gary. Nice to see your kind comments again. I remarried, and my wife loves overseas travel, so I get to see a bit more of the world these days. This was taken on our honeymoon. Hey, if you're going to be stuck, Long Beach is surely as good a place as any?

Roger, this is a fantastic view. It's a little off your usual candid style but it is still a real work of art and vision. YOu have obviously been traveling a bit and that's all part of why your work is so interesting. You still remain the king of photographic images in Japan and it's nice to see you branch out. I'm kind of stuck here in Long Beach, California and am constantly looking for new angles in the same old places.

Thank you Nanda. Yes, it does have some nice textures and contrasts. brick/stone/water/leaves... The sky is interesting too. We get such boring skies here in Japan!
