I had every intention of making this a "weird" photo. I do think that one who can stick their tongue in their own nose tends to portray a somewhat "weird" look. I wasn't really happy about the dof, however I feel that the coloring of the photo and the whole "gist" of the photo pretty much ties the "weirdness" together :)

I am not sure of your intentions, but I doubt this is a very flattering portrait :) The green makes it a bit weird. The facial expression is very convincing however. The picture has an almost crazy feeling to it. It sure is an intimate portrait ! I see you have focused on the rear eye. Maybe you could try focusing on the eye closest to the camera and see what that gives. In case you would want to have as much as possible of the face in focus, remember that the depth of field extends 1/3 in front of the focus distance and 2/3 behind it.
