Haha, that was good! Bosses and managers against photographers, that is! ;-)
Anyway, a calibrated monitor is also a must, I guess or else we won't see exactly the same picture.

Nick,
I have similar problems with my monitor at work. I guess they don't want us messing around with images when we are supposed to be working, so they provide poor graphics card on purpose. :)
I don't detect any blue in the background on my home monitor. Very light greyish white texture in the background is what I see. It does not appear as a dull grey though.

Thank you very much, Andre! When I look it at the screen n the office the background seems to have a slightly blueish color - does it?
My own monitor shows me a very very white color :-/ Monitor problems I guess.
