I know a classical high-key is B&W, but I saw these delicate pinks, and just couldn't force myself to desaturate. ;)

Nice composition. It would have been more eye-catching if the whole head was in focus. Did u do it intentionally? If yes tell me why, becasue I'm a beginner and like to learn from pros. :)

Yeah, I like this one. I think the lens might have been set at 4.0 or even 2.8 cause the drop off is happening - as it should IMHO - pretty quick. I do wish her lips/lip stick wasn't so washed out but what can you do....Tell her to send that "Hair Krimper" gadget to me so I can have my neighbour run over it with his big fat truck...Very nice shot Pablo - skin looks great !! 7+

Awesome, Thanks for the tip! Right now I am using Serif Photo Plus 10 and Picture It 7.0. The Serif isn't very user friendly but it does most things that photoshop does at much less cost.

I figured I'd try pushing this into hi-key given that her lashes were the only prominent feature below 50%.
In Photoshop, I copied the Red channel into a new layer with opacity about 50%. Some other tweaking, but that's the gist of this trick.
Glad ya like it!

Those are some long lashes. Love the lighting and the composition of the portrait. The detail in the hair is also very good. I like the contrast between the bright light on the lower face and the dark lashes. I can see why she is your favorite model. Where do you find your models? I would like to do more people but don't have the opportunity. Well done.
