That little unshameful creature!

But then again, oh well, if it can look so sweet, we would readily forgive its unshameful intervention in our photographic works ;-)

Best Wishes,

Nick

Thanks Nick,
It seems the little Red Squirrel has stolen the show from the glass jar in the Glass Project :)
Sort of what I expected would happen.

Special scene, special moment, special name. The inimmitable expression of indecision in the eyes of the squirrel, the question "should I, or should I not", and the way it approaches - all these things converge to make a very nice and somehow also humorous photo.

Technically a very good shot with a very good balance between luminosity, tonality and details.

Best wishes,

Nick

Hi Kes,
The maximum amount of Red Squirrels in a Mason jar is about 3 1/2, if you really stuff them in there tight! :)

Hi Andre, interesting shot! Just the other day I was canning some veggies and someone asked if I had ever canned meat. This shot explains a lot about that process...and you! LOL!

Thanks Carlen,
These guys are always good for a laugh! There is a site somewhere on the web showing people fishing for them with peanuts tied to a fishing line and rod. NO HOOKS! of course!

Hi Thilo,

I can't be sure that it is exactly the same squirrel anymore :) They are all named "Little Red".

Thanks Andrzej,
Only Peanuts! He did eventually work up the nerve to go in and get them. But, he was too quick for me to get any decent shots that way.

Good capture of this situation, Andre! I think the squirrel senses a setup!

Thanks Mervo,
I couldn't think of much to do for the "Glass" project, so I thought why not do this just for fun? The quality may not be outstanding, But squirrels are always fun if only to get under the serious photographer's skin :)
Good luck with your job! It's always good to be working doing something you enjoy. Maybe we will see some from you in the Journalism vein?

Thanks Cathy,
This little guy is actually unbelieveably brave... or stupid, one or the other. He was in and out of that glass pretty fast. I was lucky to get this much of a shot.

Hi Andre! Love the idea and the capture! Original and rather funny! :-) I'm not uploading many images lately because I aren't actually taking many, as I am working at the local paper as a snapper (work experience)!!! :-)

Thanks for visiting and commenting Teresa.
Actually it didn't take long at all. I was a little surprised how bold the little guy was. Couldn't get a decent shot of him half in or out of the jar...Too fast :)
