Now this WAS a fun one to put together! I got a lot of different reactions to it when I first posted it as well.
The two images just seemed to fit so well at the time :)
I'm glad so many people saw it as a fun image and something not to be taken too seriously.
Like the Ramones said "Cars and Girls" What else is there?

And the only reason I clicked on the thumbnail was the expectation of Jessica... A dodge charger, heh? Not nearly as sexy, but it'll do...:)
On a more serious note, an excellent idea, and very well edited one. i like how the rag gradually fades in to a feminine form; Superbly creative shot and digital processing.. The longer I look at it, the less important the Charger becomes. Very cool!

You are absolutely correct. We need a little humour now and then. Life is serious enough. There has to be a balance in what we do. I also enjoy making and viewing peoples more serious images, but it's good to break things up with some humour.

There is a country song called "Nineteen Something" that I heard the other day that got me thinking about doing this shot. There is a reference to Daisy Duke and her cut-off jeans. I already had the image of the car and I always thought my old beer stein handle looked a little like Daisy Duke. So, there it is :)
