Hi Colin, Knowing that the weather in your part of the world is horribly cold now, I thought it might be a good idea to remind you of what you experienced when taking this beautiful landscape. I think that the noise in the photo, especially in its lower part, adds to its glamor. Here we are having weather that entirely fits your photo and we name this kind of clouds "sheep-clouds." I also thought, remembering your love for cats, that you might want to know that our cat, Ginger, is sitting in front of my computer-screen, helping me to write this comment and therefore accoutable for all my mis-spellings. Later, when I've finished commenting, I'll post another of her favorite resting places. I did not give you the entire meaning of "Le'hitra'ot." It's wider than just goodbey and means:"Be seeing each other." Thank you for your very generous comment on my "Inverted wineglass." Best regards and be seeing you, Rafi

This is beautiful, approaching on the surreal. I like the way you metered it, good detail in the sky, nice silhouettes, and a hint of detail in the hay bales. Nicely Done.

Yes, this works very well. Not only the remarkable sky (I remeber them well) but also the light touching the tops of the mounds of earth in the shadowed field are beautifully rendered. There's a tremendous range from bright to dark and it all comes together wonderfully. Very well done, Colin.

I have just read your text. I thought the mackerels were the protrusions on the ground. I haven't found problems with noise so far with my S2. But if you have noise, the free program, neat image is very effective to remove it. Cheers: Gy.

Thanks for the thoughtful comment, Dave. You've put effort into your words. Most of them consist of 3 or 4 words, which is okay - but doesn't tell me anything - other than a nod of acknowledgement.
Kind regards Colin

You've captured a beautiful sky, Colin, and I like the way the light is reflecting off the shadowed bales. The stark, leafless trees on the left add greatly to your composition, as well. Dave.
