It's a cranefly (Daddy Long Legs), Darlene. Much more sociable than a mozzy! I snapped this on my bedroom wall (woodchip)one midnight. Then gave this fragile little creature, his freedom outside.

It was a zoom lens, Dave. I got it for C$14.99, on US ebay. it has a 75000x zoom (plus a filter for the upper stratosphere) and you screw it into the little canon A95. I thought about getting in touch with NASA, but decided Mulder and Scully were the best option.

Very unusual composition Colin, it truly look like the moon surface, but I don't think that there is mosquitos on the moon !!!

What an exellent captuer Colin,I love the lighting to the serfice of the water or what it is walking on. a very sharp image indeed Colin, I was up on the common today and got some good images.I have a bit of arthritis at the moment
