Thank you John :-) I'm trying :-) I still want to try your panning method ... just waiting for Spring and Summer so that I can have colour and greens to work with.
Just a couple more sleeps, huh? I am SO excited on your behalf ... still wishing that we could have met up somewhere.

I am so impressed with your creative talent Linn. It is wonderful to see your growth and willingness to stretch. I'm inspired to do so too... I'm in a rut which I'm sure Freeman and SA will elimanate shortly :)
I really like this image as well as the original. Well seen and executed.

The D70 is out of the question :-((( We are waiting for the Z3 which will be financially affordable. Send that ship!
I removed the colour; then did a threshold layer. I don't know whether this is the right way to do it but till Mr Dolman shares his secret ..... :-)))
But I had fun Jim ... that is what counts :-)

Linn, Heres the Deal, Get a D70 , Wait thats not right. Linn here is the deal, It's downright cool. It reminded me of a picture in an old catalog back in the days where there was no sharp photos transfered to printed stock. Just a really cool image, nice work jimc PS you high keyed it in PS right ? by overdriving levels ?
