My kind of landscape, j, one which seems more panoramic than it really is, with tremendous depth. The ominous looking clouds add an air of mystery too. The touches of green around the edge of the river add greatly. Thanks so much for stopping to see some of my IR stuff, j. Regards. Anson

My goal this weekend is to shoot this at night... if I can find it. :) Maybe I'll luck out and get some lightning with it... seems Hurrican Dean has come to NM/AZ.
Was wanting to leave today but too busy. Oh well...

Nice capture of Horseshoe Bend. I esp. like the lighting on the center peninsula against the dark ring of river and how it pops out of the image. I was there a few months ago, but it was near sunset and light in the canyon was poor. Thanks for your comment on my image Grand Canyon Sunset. -- Naomi

Nice shot of the bend, I'm so close, I will eventually get to see this. Your 12-24 lens really worked well here. I just got a 10-20 so I'm pretty excited about getting the wider angles.

Vey nice light here John, love how you framed the bend with the surronding rocks. I really enjoyed my visit to this spot although I did get a little winded on the walk back.
