I agree with you--'New and Improved' does not always mean better. Nature does a fine job on its own creating beauty and sure does not need our interference.

Tengo venir en este Alicia sujeto, satisfago tan la "estancia templada". En mi opinión humilde, este primavera es uno de esos "puntos de la memoria de Kodak" a la fotografía. Hay varios en esta área. Son "características medicinales" se refieren de nuevo a la era india norteamericana temprana. Algunas aguas contienen isótopos radiactivos bajos.
I have more coming on this subject Alicia, so please "stay tuned". In my humble opinion, this spring is one of those "Kodak Memory" spots to photograph. There are several in this area. They're "medicinal properties" are referenced back to the early North American Indian era. Some waters contain low-level radioactive isotopes.

Thank you for your kind words Mary. I have several more images to share in this series (after they come back from the scanner). As luck would have it, I photographed this particular spring with my medium format Mamiya, but due to a gross miscalculation on my part, the exposure was drastically wrong (which resulted in the underdevelopment of the film image).
At that point in time, this spring had been largely undisturbed for many, many years. After I got the film back from my processor and realized I had to re-shoot the scene, (2 weeks had elapsed) restoration work had begun. Decades of scale deposits had been chipped off, that beautiful image was relegated to a distant memory and of course (since the great State of New York was involved) this beautifully historic State Park site was "improved" in the name of the public good.

Nature has provided a very lovely combination of colours. It's beautiful how they blend together. A great shot that might have been overlooked by many. I'm glad you stopped to take the shot. It's quite pretty.
