This is a very good capture of this columbine... you hit the right focus, everything that should be clear is in focus. The lighting is also very good showing the fine hair like on the stem. The color combination is very nice, really attractive colors.

Aah, both of you are producing great floral compositions today my dear Kathy. This is beautifully detailed and composed brilliantly with a superb dof. Great macro with fine details. The DOF is great. These are wonderful looking in bloom. Can't wait to see them again. The big bud in the front, almost looks as if it is trying to stick his head out of the picture. Nice angle!!!

There is one thing for sure Markus...I am NOT a famous empress! :) Susie and I call each other Sissy...it's interchangeable. It started out as one of those jokes, and before we knew it it stuck! By the way...she is the GREATEST sister!

Hi Kathy,
Have you and Susie been shooting in the same garden again? This is a great shot! Not quite as hairy as Susie's :) I love the way the little white hairs stand out all over the stalk and even the petals! Great detail work!

Beautiful treatment of this subject, Kathy, by taking in the cluster. The rearward facing background flowers appear to be a reversed mirror image of the foreground. Good trick!!!
