I keep coming back to this one, Kathy. I really love it. Barns are so special to me- growing up in the midwest and now in the south there are not as many old dutch style barns here. The colors here just pop out at me. I would love to have this blown up about sofa size and hung on the wall with an old barn wood frame. sigh...............

This is really a perfect Composition, if you set it up, it won't get better than this. the big tree on the right, the trunk on the left, the little tree at the background and even the empty sky area at the top has some transparent branches. All this surrounds this amazingly tones barn. Perfect. is this the barn that you posted before? the one with the ceiling or the side trick? :) well done.

I can see that the snow is finally melting off. The barn seems to be so nicely tucked away between the evergreens. I really like the colors in this shot. The DOF is mavelous starting with the detailed trunk of the tree on the left side. Superb composition and lighting. Kelly

Beautiful natural shot Kathy. I like the composition and everything about the image from the bottom up to the sky area.
It wouldn't be a comment by me if I didn't mention some little nit-pik :)
Too bad about those overhanging dead branches in the top right. If they were thickly needled, that would have added to the image nicely. As it is, the bright sky combined with those few branches kind of takes away from the over-all scene.
The reason I mention this is because I find this such a common problem in so many of my own images. There always seems to be some little 10% not so good thing about an image that can drive you crazy. Andre
