I always love a mountain view with water in the scene. There's just something so very relaxing about water. A lovely tranquil scene Kathy with a beautiful view of the Twin Sisters. Lovely shot.
Cheers from Ann :)

Hi Kathy, I like the clear water in the foreground and the gravel, nice horizontal lines alternating in color and textures. Great color band also in the dense brush, and nice V opening onto the snowy mountain view. Great blue sky and beautiful lighting! Best regards, Ina

Beautiful, Kathy! Winter colours are striking in the trees and the waters seems like singing...maybe of coming spring? The air looks very crisp pervading the whole atmosphere!Well captured! YT

It is very lovely, especially in a frame. These are such familiar elements - could as well be on this side of the border! I like the light on the middle ground trees, blue sky and pristine snow. The gravel bar provides interest and breaks up the large foreground river tableau. Eb

Thank you for your nice comment, KP! Actually, this shot is taken in the neighbors yard of the view that Susie took. There seems to be a "battle of the views" in that neighborhood. They all think that their view is the best! :) Susie and I are indeed sisters, but not twins. We do have a very strong bond in many ways...she's the best! Thanks again, and my best to you! Kathy

That is a beautiful sight! The colors are rich and vivid. I like the way the lines of the hills converge, allowing the mountain to be viewed.

I remember susie posting a view of the same mountains which she'd taken from probably the same friend's backyard which you'r talking about here! I know you both are sisters but not sure if you are twins! ) But felt real happy when saw images of Twin Sisters on your portfolio as well! Wish you boh keep sharing the same kind of strong bond as can be felt b/w the 'Twin Sisters'! ;o)
Best wishes. kp

Wow, very pretty! The water does add a nice touch to this. It adds a lot of interest. Is this on the landscape setting? It's nice dof with great definition in the mountain. Beautiful shot! Have a great Sunday!

WOW first here. I'm behind in my comments here Kathy buit I will try to catch up before I leave. I did view your first "Sisters" image but I like this one better mainly because I alwaus enjoy a water scene. A beautiful scene with super details and clarity. I love the V shape natural frame for the mountains. Lovely Kathy.
Thanks again for dropping by my farwell image.
Cheers and blessings from Ann :)
