this is really a good shot, i didn't think it would be anything special from looking at the thumbnail, but you proved me wrong. The only thing i could say is that the bright yellow light the bright green lights are a little distracting. You could easily crop off the green one, but i don't know what you'd do with the yellow one, maybe a different angle?

i have no hints, all i can tell you is that this is very creative. I don't know if you have the lenses or camera to accomplish it, but if you could get closer to the raindrop that'd be great, its such a small part of the picture as it is now. Love the border and the focus though.

this is a good idea and i love how the water looks, however, JT is right, the trees are a little overexposed.

I love the palm branches framing this one, and the added frame also works great with this photo. A great eye to be able to see this shot. Nice work.

the photo is fine in itself, and the frame works well, but why go black and white? THe Grand Canyon is a beautiful thing, but in my opinion, the colors are the best part. Just my two cents.

this is a great photo. the colors are very nice and the rotation works well, although i might have cropped the bottom a little more, Just my thoughts. I Also tried this idea with a reflected trees in water, but it did not turn quite this well. Great photo overall

This is a very impressive photo. I love it. First the long shutter speed makes everything look so sharp compared to the soft water, and the color of the ferns is very impressive. However, I have a hard time focusing on either the water or the ferns as the main subject. mabye if you could get one shot with the ferns as the main focus and another with the water. They are both so beautiful against he rest of the forest that they deserve it. But with both together they compete against each other and take away a little from the photo. Still, this is an excellent photo and I hope i was coherent enough to understand.
In my Humble opinion Dan Brunck

I agree with james, the trees are distracting, although I don't know if you could do anything about that. Also cropping both the top and the bottom would help. HOwever, the colors are excellent and it is a great subject.

wow, this is a very impressive picture, really creates a dreamy feeling. However i would like to see more of the mountains, as they are most impressive with the snow/mist? around them.

agreed, this is an excellent photo, i'm assuming this was taken last year becuase we sure haven't gotten any snow this year in southwest Ohio. This image really conveys the cold feeling as well.

yes it does look a little over exposed but i guess in order to get the crane moving you had to do that. Also maybe if you cropped this one in a little bit on the top and left sides. Another nice photo though

This shot evokes a nice mood, However it might be more appealing if the moon was a little more left and up. And by the way the Pittsburgh photo was taken from the top of an incline, i believe it was called Mt. Washington. Thanks for your comments and keep up the good work.
