Very nice indeed. A perfect questionmark for sure, but to me it very strongly suggests a drop. Just a tad deeper DOF would have been nice to bring the very tip into focus as well.

I am happy that everybody seems to read her expression favorably. She was a little embarrassed but she did so love those pink azaleas.

You just gave me an interesting idea! This is very elegant - is it a pendulum? Have you looked at it as a negative?

It was more of a hypothetical suggestion... And if this doesn't make you a nature photographer, then I don't know what it makes you... A magician maybe?

Pretty low light - maybe more detail if you had stronger illumination? I like it though. Preparing projections for a show?

Wondering how this matches the music. Certainly gives me an idea of what to expect (just not when - details, details). I recognize the singer by now :-)

Very beautiful and indeed quite differnt from the "usual" Jeanette fare. I am not a landscape person myself, but I wonder what an achor (more solid feature, another island or something like that) in the right hand side would have done to this image.

Hi Ian - it is gritty, isn't it. You should have seen it before I toned down the contrast to what you see here...

Hi Dirck - I am glad you like it. Controlling contrast (curves adjustments) is the main thing I think about in post work on b/w photos. It is a little ironic because I know how it is perceived will vary a lot depending on who the monitor and viewing environment.

This sequence is really nice. I have a few remotely in this vein and always liked the chance eye-contact through the crowd. How do you meter this? Just incident light?

I like the subdued colors you have used. The composition with lots of space in front of him is good, but to me it indicates more of an contemplative mood than a hangover.
