As the others say ,striking photo,the girl looks so serious with so sad look in her dark eyes..I suppose there is special custom of delineating eyes with some dark substance..probably for a kind of protection,or I'm wrong.
Very nice ,but sad portrait.

This is such a striking photograph, one of impact and intensity, those eyes are striking and make you want to stare at them. Wonderful B+W tones and nice blur of the girl in the background.
