I like the effect of grain here Roger it creates a sort of 3D effect for the rose. As for the colour change, I have noticed it some of my shots and think it's the colour changing within the deep shadows at the heart of the flower. Best wishes....Ray

No, theres nothing wrong with it being grainy if thats the way you like. Its an excellent picture. The centre of the rose may be red because of sunlight, or maybe due to it being in shadows, it came out as a really dark pink colour, making it red...? It could also have happened if you enhanced the photo. Welldone, Sophie King
