I always enjoy a nice misty water image. I see you're in Tassie. I've visited there a number of times. There are great locations to photograph there and this is one of them. You have a lovely composition here and a I know how dark it can be under those rainforest canopies so you've echieved a well balanced exposure considering the difficult lighting conditions. A love scene Bernadette and nicely captured.

Lovely shot. I'm seeing a lot of blue, so a little bit of warming would be in order, unless it's just my monitor.

Thanks - I always find it difficult to get these shots to work as it is normally too bright and I have had limited success with ND filters. I shall persevere!

Hey there Huw Ge you asked me about the exposure time and I was way off the mark when I tried to remeber off the top of my head, but I have checked the details of the shot and the exposure was 1/4sec. I was correct about the aperture though.

Hi there, it was already quite dark as the area was surrounded by large ferns and tall trees so it enabled me to take a long exposure. I cant remember if it was a 15sec or 30sec exposure, the aperture was f3.5

You finally posted this great pic here! I really enjoy looking at this one... water is such a great subject to photograph. I'm hoping to go back to the blue mountains and take long exposed shots like this.

nice shot - what was the exposure, were using an ND filter to reduce shutter speed or was it already dark enough to slow the water from the camera?
