Rob,

When I spoke to your brother he said you were good, but I had no idea you were this good!

WOW Rob I don't know what to say except thank you. Sadly, I'm on a wireless laptop system and I have to use a web based Hotmail email account as I don't have my own server. Hotmail don't allow files that big to be sent through their system. One of the downsides to living in a motorhome I'm afraid. I can only send and receive small file jpgs less than 2 megs I believe and I expect your file would be much larger than that. On the upside we do enjoy the travelling lifestyle the motorhome allows us.

Thank you again for the offer. It's very kind of you.

Cheers - Ann :)

Thanks a lot Ann! I really like what you did with the other one and I am going to try it and see how it turns out. If it turns out then I will certainly hang it on a wall. Let me know if you want me to send it to you; the full file that is. :)

I was just going through your thumbnails again and this one caught my eye again. This one is my favourite of "The Bells" images. I like the more distant feel in the composition. It gives more image to the viewer. Also the reflection is nicer and overall it seems more uncluttered to me. If you run that burn cloud over those clouds to dull them just a bit then you've got a real winner here Rob (in my opinion anyway). This one should be hanging on a wall. I love it. Cheers - Ann :)

beautiful image.. love the colors and the reflection, what a great landscape.. guess the only thing I see is that the sky (clouds) are just a bit overexposed.. great work

fantastic reflection. Real great details and colors. Maybe a little bit overexposed for the clouds and the snow, but it's real nice pic.

You've caught a wonderful reflection Rob. Now, tell me, there are no ripples on the water surface so was there a slight film of ice?
It is a beautiful composition of yet another stunningly great scenario.Fantastic!.Best wishes..Ray

The sweeping in of the two tree-dotted inclines perfectly frames the single white peak in the middle right. The reflection is equally impressive. All of this is seen well before the over-exposed clouds. With that said, toning down the clouds is really the only improvment I can see, and the only thing keeping this from perfection. I don't think an ND Grad would have worked here, as the two sides would become unaturally dark as well. I probably would have gone for 2-3 bracketed shots w/ 2 stops inbetween each, then composite them in PS.

Cheers,
Chris

Oh my...this is breathtaking. The reflection is just stunning. I would freeze just to paddle a kayak in that water. Probably a thin black line for a frame would have helped to tone down the bright clouds...but this comes from someone who never frames her iamges because I haven't yet learnt how to do that. haha. I love this shot Rob and into my favourites it goes.

Thanks also for taking the time to view and comment on my images. Cheers - Ann :)

Looks like a magic spot Rob. Over exposed clouds in the sky are a problem but otherwise a nice image.
