About I didn't really intend to do a series, but I guess this would be the second image taken from "behind".
I think I have a couple more so we'll see how long the trend continues...:)

Precious with the high heels, Susie, and the stroller up on one wheel.

Says pure curiosity to me, as she is poised looking to the right with her head turned to the side. Maybe something coming around the bend.

Not sad at all, just cautious. After all she is out on her own with a good grip on her dolly.

Thanks for a great image, Leora

Susie you are really good at these portraits, I love from behind shots and the abandon is wonderful here, the way she has her head and is dragging the stroller behind her..feels kind of sad..like she's been disappointed or something. Your tones are perfect, it's wonderfully taken Susie..great work..Linda

Absolutely great! Especially I like how the hair of the doll falls like the hair of the girl. They have to start practising so early, don?t they?! :)

This is turning into a very nice series Susie!
I like this one a lot. The little girl can't seem to wait to grow up. She looks so mature. Just the body language I guess. The way she is holding the doll and at the same time looking after the stroller with the other hand. She probably picked this pose up from her Mom.
Well captured!
Andre

Out of this world Shot Susie. I get the feeling that she is saying" Come on Dolly....Let go....While she drags the stroller behind her. I Love the tones of the shot. and the natural Light reflecting off the hair is fantastic.
Well done my friend.
Best Regards

I love these child series that are springing up.
You can weave your own stories to fit the pics.

This is another well thought out composition Susie, a lovely scenario of taking dolly for a walk. Beautiful casual stance from the subject and great tones to be seen throughout the study. Well spotted and taken..Best wishes..Ray

Una foto preciosa y entrañable. 7
Me gusta mucho el tono, la luz y que la niña nos esté dando la espalda, hace que la escena sea más misteriosa.
Un saludo Susie

Thanks for the idea Ann. This happened to be a candid, but maybe I should do some setups...hmmmm! You've got me thinking!

Yes, I usually remove saturation and then use the channel mixer to get the tones. I was sure happy to discover that tool! :)

Ina Nicolae Ina Nicolae   {K:44481} 11/3/2005
Very sweet, and I love the title too. They both look like dolls, a doll carrying another doll. Love the soft sepia and the light contrasts, very nice mood to the entire scene! Well done, Susie! A wonderful moment!

  0

Ann Nida Ann Nida   {K:45248} 11/3/2005
Maybe she is trying to get the doll to push HER in the stroller. ;)

I had a thought on this one Susie. I would have liked to have seen her walking down a path. I know you are very good with minimalist backgrounds and they work beautifully for you. It was just an idea that came to me when I saw this image. I like this Susie. Very nice. Cheers - Ann :)

It might was not a true feeling of the young lady but the image expresses a bit of sadness and dispair. It's an attribute of the from "behind" concept where only posture, overall tones and layout contribute to the expresion. Well taken to present emotions. n.j

Very cute, Sis! These tones are great! Someone needs to tell her that the doll goes IN the stroller! Looking forward to more in the series!
