Definetly a figure I would stay away, too scary. Great shot and idea. I really like it.

Thanks for the Latin. I studied it once, don't know what for and have forgotten most of it. Here's your third word in Hebrew: Le (to) hitra'ot: (one word, meaning to see in the reflexive mood), i.e. to be seeing each other, in other words: goodbye. Le'hitra'ot, Colin, Rafi

Shalom Ubracha, Rafi! I appreciate the kind words about my 'youthful' appearance (the bio pic was taken early 2003, when I was 43 ) However, with my ever-present pain problems, I feel about 103!
It was great to see your comment on this image. A modification on my previous "Bussana Vecchio", photoart. This image I re-entitled, "Pravus" - which is Latin for "Evil". Thanks also, for doubling my Hebrew vocabulary, to 2 words!
Regards Colin

Shalom ubracha, Colin (Shalom + blessing.) First a word about the photo of yourself on your page. You look much younger than I thought with intense, deep-looking eyes. This one is really fear-inspiring, fascinating and very well created. The shining red eyes on the black face.. the Dark One indeed. Glad to see you traveling. Thank you for your associative, generous comment on my "Firewings" and its "about." Unintentionally it created all kinds pf associations in its viewers. Best regards, Rafi

Many thanks, Dave. A variation on the Bussana Vecchio crop. I know Hallowe'en is big, that side of the Atlantic.

Ahhhhh, Colin...I'm doing the dance of joy! I love this image! Truly nightmare-inducing, which you know I love...and perfect for a night of arcane witchery and Celtic mischief. Bless you for dedicating it to me, Dark King of Northumberland! May tonight bring you great merriment, my dear friend.
