Thanks, Justin - I did use a flash. I like the way you've brought the colours out, although I don't really mind the blown-out highlights on the original. The shot I *should* have got and didnt would have been from the side and across the ends, presented vertically so you just saw a series of rusted holes bleeding off into the distance. Ah well.. opportunity lost, :-]

I like this version much more than the first one. Nice composition and subject matter but it's rather flushed out. It looks like you used a flash because of the harsh blow-outs nearer to the camera. I went ahead and contrasted it a little and burned the ends of the pipes to give them a more authentic and rusted appearence.
