This is quite nice John ...you may find a faster speed will make it a little crisper and as I said with mine there was more than enough light to speed it up....good luck

Many thanks for your interest and your comment, Rafi. The only real difference between "Friends" and "Associates" lists seems to be that it is not announced to the person concerned if you add them (or remove them!) from the list. I tend to use the "Associates" list simply because I like to watch quite a large number of photographers but will not have a chance to look at every image they upload.

I've re-read the last part of your bio, John. To tell the truth, I don't quite understand the difference between "friend" and "associate", although I discovered that they are mutually exclusive when applied to the same person.
Be that as it may, this is a fine display of fireworks you captured here and using a slow shutter speed gave a more interesting effect.
