KAPOW! Love this. The colours are magnificent and you've managed to compose it perfectly. It's hard to know exactly where to crop so you don't lose the patterns. Was contemplating uploading a recent one of mine, but you put me to shame AJ... ;)

Many thanks for your kind comment, Roger. I had originally processed this using my standard workflow in PSP9. A couple of weeks later I was playing around with the new release of Lightroom and the version of this shot that popped out was just so much more vibrant.

Must be one of the best photographs of a peacock EVER! This is what the "saturation" control (so often misused IMHO) was originally intended for! I'd love to see a big print, bet it would look positively luminous.

Powerful colors and sharpness that left the small details of the feathers so ell... looks like with a big net that tail, excellent image, and very good element that both the net-wall like tail and the bird's main body - head are in focus very well...
