About	This is the latest addition to the bridges going over the river Maas in Maastricht, a bridge for cyclists and pedestrians only. I pass by those houses (and hotel... the dark building) every day on my way to and from work... it's lovely... you cycle right next to the water and pass under this bridge, but this time I decided to go over it... ;-D!!! Taken very early in the morning, going home after a 'hard days night (shift)'... LOL!!! This is the part of Maastricht called Wyck you're looking at now... and there's somewhat of a rivalry going on between the people living in the old centre and people living in Wyck.... According to the 'city folk' people who live across the bridge/in Wyck are 'farmers'..... not even 100 m apart, but a world of difference (or so they say in the 'city')... LOL!!! BTW I'm 'city'... and my parents live in Wyck... so... ehm... no problem at all.... ;-D!!!!

Schitterende foto, dit geeft het omgekeerde effect als je de foto het eerst ziet, alsof je naar de reflectie op een bol oppervlak kijkt .. prachtig gemaakt Petal !

I like the contrast of the lovely curves in the bridge with the hard straight lines of the rail and buildings. The reflection of the sky and clouds in the metal of the bridge makes it almost blend into the sky.

You might like to try it without the lean on the buildings, particularly those on the left, that should be able to be corrected with PS

Haha... we have a similar problem in Lancster except here its drunken youths from one side of the river picking fights with equally drunken youths on the other side!

I like your composition on this a lot Petal. The way you've included the arch in the top of the frame is superb and quite abstract. Beautiful colours too.....

Wonderful bluish colors and tones. Nice landscape with fantastic perspective. Lovely buildings with wonderful clouds. Maastricht is pretty city. Great work dear Petal!
