Hi Kev,
I just bought my Sigma 10-20 for my D70. I haven't posted an image yet, but I can tell you that this piece of glass rocks the house. 10 mm at 15mm film equivalent, this is for sure an awesome feeling to photograph. Now I will hunt down the streets without my 14mm analog.

Thilo - I have just got to get a real wide - my widest film camera lens is a 20mm Canon - I must get a "real" wide - perhaps a 10-20 for my d70...then I saw let the "wide angle" games begin...

I agree with you, I like the way the skyscraper fades in the clouds, Btw, for how long did you have to walk to come up with all those pictures, I am sure you lost couple of kilos by now :) Keep in shape and keep them coming, Regards,

What I find interesting is the way the green light appears like a patch of grass-something that is scarce in major cities. Excellent~

I thought from the thumbnail this was another IR shot - it was only the green traffic light that made me realise it wasn't! I do like your wide angle shots, and I particularly like the reflections you caught on the buildings - very nice!

Wonderful picture Thilo... Love the composition and the perspective given by the extreme wide angle lens... I like very the skyscraper, how it reaches for the sky and the reflections in it... The sky is astonishing... One can follow two paths here... One will be the sky following the skyscraper lines. The second is following the road having an excellent view of the other buildings... I could be staring to this for hours and find something new...
You did a superb work here my dear friend...
Cheers,
MaLuisa

Hi Thilo, Another great angle shot. The colour is very attractive, however my heart is with the dark sepia tones when it comes to city scapes. This one would look great in a dark sepia tone. But then I think that about everything :) Andre

Thilo, your use of the 14mm is just great, especially when coupled with the blues you manage to find within the sky. definitely a cool perspective...
