About Pews in Saint John's Cathedral.

I have been debating over which one to put on. The blue tones are from light shining through stained glass.
Below is the one with the window...

Very uniquely composed shot of this with the angle and perspective. I can't think of a better way you could have captured it. Tones, lighting, and brightness also perfect for it. Well done

Randy

(well, I just scanned down before posting this comment and that might be an even better way! Looks striking with the window placed in corner and lines leading your eyes to it. Post it too!)

Thanks Chris,

I agree, but it's all so subjective. It's been fun hearing which one other think. A good mix!
Thanks, have a GR8 evening!

This works well as an abstract Lori, I prefer this over the other which includes the window. In fact I could't really tell what this was until I saw the about and the other image,

Cheers,
Chris

I think you picked the right one, Lori, but the second one helps explain what is going on. The colours are wonderful - nice shot.

This really pretty cool abstract, the blue colour looks nice with the surrounding, to me the attachment looks butter, with the dark background and the matching blue frame edge. Beautiful composition. Saeed

It's a difficult choice, Lori.
Both are innovative and fascinating shots.
I'd never have guessed the first one were rows of pews.
Just glad that we don't have to seen on them every Sunday! )
Nice work on both counts!
Best regards, Chris

OK first: neat shot(s)!!! Cool color, great angle, crop (I do like a square one... ;-D) and composition, would've liked a bit more focus though.... well done!!! Now about which one: the big one is more of an abstract, if you've never seen the inside of a church it's very hard to guess what it is... the smaller upload is more of a 'give away' with the stain glass window, but I do like the composition/placement of that window in the corner of the frame... very hard one... but I think I go for door number.... one, the big one... ;-D!!!
