La Jolla... sets of waves from a far ground swell coming... no one out to enjoy them... dramatic sky... only seagulls as spectators... this is what photography is for: visualize your dream! This is excellent, Lori. Thanks very much for your kind encouragement. Maurizio

Referring to your "Told ya" post. From snow covered mountains to warm sunny beaches in an hour's drive. That's CA for you. I love the perspective you gave this shot of the beach. I think it's this that makes it appear to tilt a little but in reality, it's straight. This photo has sound because I can here the soft roar of the ocean. I like it! Jimmy

I don't really care if it is or isn't straight - I just see it for how it looks and it looks beautiful Lori, fabulous sky and scenery.
A gorgeous moody landscape photograph - just needs a fisherman in the picture (namely me lol)
Best wishes, Steve

Ohhhhhhh what a beauty!!! Didn't notice the horizon issue until I read the about and now looking at it I see what you mean. The perspective is fantastic. Did you bend down low? I'd also like to see this without the house on the left, although I like it there as well. Am just curious whether that would make this even stronger, since the house draws my attention from the sand and sky, which are my favorite parts. Antonia

Don THANKS!
Maybe it's some kind of an opptical illusion, half the people think it's tilted and the other half doesn't!! It's one of those pictures that is kind of tricky I guess!
Have a GR8 day! Lori :)

Hi Ken, Thanks so much for your nice comment!
Yes, it's so difficult to 'surf' when no broadband or cable...I wouldn't have the patience to wait! But just think how much you will appreciate the speed broadband when you get back to normal!!
Glad you liked this image, whenever I see interesting skies I take lots of pictures as we mostly have clear skies!!
Have a great day! Lori ;)

Lori,
Yet another beautiful shot. I wonder how you manage to get such amazing skies.
For the last 3 months I have been having trouble with my broadband connection. As a result I am using the slow line. So I am not able to see yours and other friends images to enjoy and comment as much as I could. Hope in the next few weeks it will be back to normal.
Thank you so much for your ever so reliable vists and comments.
regards, ken.

Its great scene, really beautiful place and shot, in this case the horz. does not matter I think the tall tree within the house is directly straight up wards and that excellent alignment. Splendid job.Saeed

Great shot Mrs Stitt! Yes, it is leaning and you should straighten it because this great image deserves it :-)
I love the angle at which the light has coloured the soft clouds. Great capture of the rolling waves and the birds add value to what otherwise be a bland stretch of rocks.
I think the cherry on the cake is the house that is enveloped with mist. Very nice focal point.
Well taken.
Linn
