Thank YOu so much John !!! This image was taken in Fl. I used to pass this partial building on my bicycle daily and watched when they burnt it down to re0build I suppose but still it was a beautiful piece of property -----like you say the best backyard to dream of :))
PS sorry I have been off-line & UF for this week ...i will plan to catch up very soon & then onto visit my kids, and grand- kids :)) I am sooooo excited !!

Great capture here too Michele . . . I should point out that the exploring best not be delayed too long since it seems Mother Nature is here to reclaim the area!! The composition is quite good here and the only suggestion I have is that a tighter crop on the left and perhaps a smidge off the top will give the shot more impact, in my opinion, by removing the negative, non-contributing foliage and provide you with a wonderful, natural frame! Lovely Image Michele.

Guess what the building can't talk but I have been watching it since hurricanne Ivan almost 9 months now . . . and I can talk ! I've seen a lot of stuff being buried and dug up , and burned there . If only this could talk it would have fascinating stories to tell. With the building in the shade and the bright light out behind it I think it effectively communicates the secret hideaway feeling. Thanks for your recent comments. Much appreciated.

Wonderfully captured image of a nearly hidden treasure. Places like this are often so well camouflaged that many might pass it by. I'm so glad that you took the time to share this precious southern gem with us. I love the tantalizing colors, the assorted flora and the crisp details that you've managed to bring to life. This looks like the right spot to take a day to explore. B)
