About Another of the Fox series shot yesterday on the way to work. I feel so fortunate to live in an area where these wild creatures abound. seeing them even at a distance is a privilege, but to record thier antics close up is really special.

Yes I was close , about 50 feet I would guess. In reference to your scrawny comment, raising a litter really takes the life out of them ! I photographed one 4 years ago that looked like death warmed over. She has a nice healthy coat though, just a little tired.

This is a beautiful photo, everything about it is perfect. Great frame, color is outstanding and the subject is one that you don't see everyday. If you had it up for rating I'd give you a 7.

Great shot and you must have been fairly close the lense is only 200mm. The fox is very colourful and surprisingly scrawny.

Yes, you are lucky. The only creatures I have in my yard are rabbits and an occasional frog. And I don't have this lens..it's on my wish list.

Splendid capture!
