Hey Marcus,
Just checking out your shot of the Montara Lighthouse - beautiful! Love the saturated colors to this. I really like this angle as well since it incorporates so much more of the landscape. I'll have to get back out there again when I have time.

So much for the weather report which says sunny and clear at the coast LOL. Dosnet matter as I doubt I can find time to run over there, Its funny I have that shot in my head which we spoke about only its sunny out LOL, next time i decide to go over the hill i am going to call that resturant over there and ask them LOL..

Ha ha! Yeah, it's there, but not too noticeable. Today doesn't look too good either. I can see over the mountains from my office and it's cloudy over there.

You know whats funny, when I got home I took a look and that barrier we moved is in my photo LOL, I think that was the think I was mentioning to you that i messed up. I think we picked the wrong day as today would have been better as there is no fog in sight according to the weather report, most of my pelican shots dont have that sunny day punch...

Marcus, this is a fantastic scenery. I like how the fence leads the eyes to the lighthouse. The sky has a superb blue and the misty water adds a beautiful contrast.

This image makes postcards look unprofessional! What grandeur, so splendidly panoramic, yet so rich in close-up detail (especially that white picket fence). The old lighthouse, the quaint houses, that gorgeous tree like an overgrown bonsai, that row of flowers accompanying the bending road, and to top it all: that fog showing its face on the left, to remind viewers why the lighthouse is there. Wow Marcus, Lots to admire in this one and very well composed...Beautiful blues in the sky and water contrasted with just the right amount of whites..the clarity is incredible, but wait that's a Canon 20D..hahahaha....Love the winding road with that white fence and the wild flowers on the side leading the eye to the wonderful lighthouse. And then there's that awesome tree, he looks so enamored with the beauty it's as if he's pointing in all directions saying look what we have here..gorgeous work...very well done...:):)Linda

The composition is marvelous, and the curve of
the road takes the viewer to the lighthouse
and cottage that looks very inviting. Outstanding color and lighting.
