We were there for 5 days, and had a wonderful time. I didn't want to leave, such a neat place. And all the people were so nice as well.

Thanks, really glad you liked this one. I spent over three weeks on this. Several days ALL DAY and part of the evening. Changing size of photos, changing positions in the layers box, textures, styles/modes, etc.............I didn't count the number of layers, probably around 30, some deleted...LOL
But, still, it's a 'labor of love', this also will be printed to a 20x24 and 2" mat.
The last one with the infamous 'dot'....it had already gone to print and remember I was thinking I could just use a Sharpie to get rid of it??? (wrong...couldn't) BUT; going back in time, I used to do my own retouching (and I don't mean digital retouching) and I still had all the art supplies. So I mixed some liquid brown photo dyes with a tint of orage, and tiny brush, and it WORKED!!! Perfectly. I wasn't sure how the paper would handle the dye, but no problem. And I thought I'd never use that stuff again..(never say never)!!!

I knew ahead of time just where I would put it. Maybe that's why it took for sooo long (and 3 'start-overs') to finish it.

Hi Lori, What a wonderful well balanced mood map. Reminds me of the collages you sometimes see with trend watchers, identifying a (marketing) target group. The rich colours and tones of out door life... Very well done, excellent lay-out and combination of photos. What I like is how you combined overviews (landscapes) with partial views and details to create a coherent image. Very well done indeed!
