I wasn't in a visit to Dubai my dear I am living there :) actually you'll find a lot of enjoiable places here & a lot of great shopping centers !!
only you have to be patient for the crowded traffic allover the day :)!!

Lucky you, Inji!! Dubai is our neighbour, but I've never been to there :(
i guess you waited for the boat to reach that position between the lightpost and the palm tree. well done. they should pay you for this pic cus you're advertising for them 
the only thing i can mention here is that i would have loved to see more water in front of the boat so it's floating on the water instead of standing on the pic's frame ;)

Thank you so much dear Ozjan for your kind comment , my dear I think your trip was in Al Khoor ( the creek ) not in Mina Essalam , as these canals are very small ones where boats are used to carry the visitors from side to side similarly as the gondolas of (Venice).

If I am not wrong I have managed to experience this trip but at night when I had a nice 2 hours trip aboard a "Dawa" boat started from the same place. This is a very beautiful relaxing shot. Cheers dear Inji.

Dear Ahmed , I was in Cairo last vacation for some work & it was a good chance to celebrate Shamm Enneseem there , was a great time indeed & weather was very nice , I was so eager to get some great shots from Cairo , I already did , but not as much quantity as I wish cause the policemen prevented me from taking photos in many places dowen towen ( west el balad ) after the crime of the bridge ! I will post some of them later in shaa Allah .

actually there are some lakes & canals in this wonderful resort where boats are used for moving from place to place !
I have a lot of nice captures there particularly for the smart black guard men :))
