About This is a different version of the Yellow Fever image that I posted a couple of weeks back. This one was taken with my Mamiya 7II medium format film camera a little earlier than the previously posted shot which was taken with my Fuji S2 Pro digital SLR. The film image gives a much richer colour rendition and much more detail. As ever with my film images, there's been no PS work other than sharpening and a shallow S-curve to regain contrast lost in the scan. I used a 3 stop reverse ND grad and 81B warm-up filter.

the sky and the land give such a different sense of contrast - its really hard to explain but very good shot Barry

Really lovely composition and colors. The sky is phenomenal; really nice use of the ND grad.

You pay a lot of attention to getting the sky right - I think that is part of what makes your images so appealing.

The dramatic sky is just after my fancy, very attractive color palette and nice contrast with the yellow field. You were lucky with the clouds, no motion blur despite 5 sec

Beautiful colours! Indeed they look better (more natural) than in the Fuji S2 image.
