George, technically excellent but more than that the girl has presence, demure but out there, graceful but just needs reassurance.....much enjoyed thank you and thank you for the useful comment on my trees.....regards to you and South Carolina, cheers, david.

ps definitely not a Lily, an Yvette I think!

The B&W is fine with this image, concentrates the view on the shapes and tones with no distracting colours. I'm sure that foot would take on extra prominence if it was a colour image.
Well done George it's a good one.

Brilliant B&W George... works really well for this subject... the petals look like a beautiful ball gown... maybe there is inspiration in this shot for any would be fashion designers out there )

I also love that frame... brilliant effect... again I find I'm asking myself.. How did he do that? lol

Yeah, Larry, after I got a bit of (appropriate) grief about the last b&w I posted, I thought I'd try to redeem myself. Even as I was taking this shot, I knew I wanted it to be b&w. Sometimes it works; other times . . . you know! --g

It's a lily, isn't it? You captured it as if it were mourning, George, and the gray color fits this atmposphere very well.
Thank you for your very generous comments on my "Figurs 10 and 12."
Best regards,
Rafi
