About On a friend's recommendation of its sharpness I got a Pentacon 30mm F/3.5 lens. It certainly is sharp! The above manages to look good even at 800 pixels, but the original negative is even more impressive. Colour balance is pretty good, although it makes my favourite Fuji Superia 800 film look just a little different from what I've become used to.

Another fine shot of this spectacular show of colour, Roger.
I see what you mean about the lens's sharpness and clarity!
Best regards, Chris

The flowers in the foreground were very VERY close, so I'm not disappointed by their slight fuzziness. I wanted the people sharp and my goodness I got them! I used a high shutter speed deliberately to get to F/11 (although F/8 is also very good with this lens).

The sky is even touched by blue. Nice work and Yes it is sharp but f 11 is certainly the highest on the curve in l/mm. Yet in case of my 17-40mm zoom lens at f11 it has more sharpness in the foreground in cases like these. I no, I should not compare on this basis. Rob.
