Dear George, Chagall has already been mentioned in connection with another photo of mine, I don't remmeber which one and it was an exaggeration then also. Best regards, Rafi

Wow this must be a really old anchor (?). They don't make these like they used to anymore!! Nice eye for this 'rustic' composition! Omar

I like this a lot, rust is so photogenic - lots of nice warm colours and textures - even though it's slowly decaying it still looks robust and strong.

No, Rafi, no exaggeration--"eye of the beholder," perhaps. Aren't we all influenced by experience, and doesn't that include our experience of great art? (Rhetorical question to be sure.) And I haven't even gotten yet to Chagall! ;-)

Once more you find beauty everywhere, George. Thank you for your very generous comments on my "Figure 5 and 6." Dali, Escher? are you sure you're not exagerating? Best regards, Rafi

I agree with Antonio, the tight crop is what makes this shot remarkable. I like the textures and the detail, like the rusty spots. Very smart shot, George! -- Kind regards, Rafael

Larry, if digital technology did nothing else, it gives me the opportunity to look at and photograph things I never would have considered shooting with film. I do love it. ;-) Thanks again . . . --g

Thanks, Armando, it is about the size of my fist. In fact, on my 20" screen, it is just about actual size. --g
