Great sequence of the last stages of life. While the vase is off center, the shadows balance the images for me, and I never would have thought about it until I read the comments about it.

Great Idea. But why does my brain want them the other way around.. Must be a northern hemisphere thing... By the looks of the waterline, this took a few days? Did you leave the camera still or did you reposition every shot??
Well done

Thanks Steve. I was at first perturbed about them being off centre...but I figured that life is always a little off center. Yes there seems to be two or three light sources...because the only light source I had coming on to the subject was 3 casement windows in the front wall. Therefore the angles of the open windows threw the shadows into what you see, which I actually found quite interesting and different then the one solid shadow.
I didn't want to try artificial light source as I wanted it as natural as possible.
I hope that makes sense.

Hi Judi...
Awseome new direction - you really do seem to do well ay whatever you try!
This is a very nice triptych - though I it feels to me to be a little off balance with the glass slightly off centre in each picture (in fact I am only distracted by it on the third puc - but they are all off centre)
Looks like there are at least 2 or 3 light sources in the image looking at the shadows. Possibly artificial light would have given you a more consistent light to work with.
Well done on this new idea.
Steve
