Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, dear Judi and in my favorites As an Australian it might interest you to know that right now a Macabia is taking place in Israel. The Macabia, named after Yehuda Hamacabi, a hero who defeated the Greeks in the time of the Second Temple, about two centuries before the Temple was destroyed by the Romans, is the Jewish equivalent of the Olympic Games. Eight years ago the Australian delegation had to pass over a bridge that was mal-constructed and several members of the delegation fell into a highly polluted river. A few drowned, others were infected by virulent funghi and there was bad blood between Israel and the Jewish community in Australia for several years. This year there was a reconcilliation and a very large delegation from Australia will take part in the games, many of them staying in a hotel in which we are having a local psychiatric convention. And I must not forget to thank you for your very kind comment on my "Smile!", my "Couple in cabin" and my "Beauty in the train." I'm glad I made you laugh. Best regards, Rafi

I like the geometrical formation of the lines. I had the camera balanced on the tripod, half on a large wood block and half off. The mill was pumping at the time so every jerk of the pipe moved the tripod, so I really had to time it well and angle the camera precariously to get the right shot. Being at night meant a long shutter, so it was an uncertaintity as to how it would turn out.
