Tiffany - I was really surprised at how well this one turned out. That lens on my little camera was really close to the center of the daisy. Can't find my camera book, but I think I remember reading that on the macro's you need to be at least 4" away. Well, guess what? On this one and the ones I took of the Crepe Myrtle the lens was almost on the flower. Got lucky I guess. Jan

Thanks Mary - Need to stop quilting for a few minutes so I can get out there and see what is new in my friend's portfolio. :-)
PS At least I am doing fun stuff and not :-( housework! Jan

Thanks Eric - It's always a surprise to see your shot on the computer monitor. The flowers in my recent bunch of shots had fine dust on them - that you couldn't see until uploaded onto the computer. Surprise. (That's how I have been able to capture a few tiny bugs too.) Jan

Thanks Angelo - doesn't it look good enough to eat? Just reminded me of a piece of fancy candy or something you'd fine as desert in a fine restaurant.

Amazing details and colors here, Janice. Conventional wisdom says never to center a subject, but this is absolutely perfect and a time when the rule was meant to be broken. Very well done. :)
